Pageant of Hashish and Music Will get Quashed With New Bylaws in Vaughan

Organizers of the Journey competition say ticketholders will obtain full refunds inside the subsequent week.

Plans for a sprawling occasion that blended cannabis training with a summer season music competition have been snuffed out by the Metropolis of Vaughan, Ont.

Organizers of the Journey Hashish and Music Pageant say new bylaws launched by town have compelled their three-day occasion on the 990-acre Boyd Conservation Park, north of Toronto, to be cancelled.

Journey, initially slated to run from Aug. 23 to 25, was supposed to mix a bring-your-own-cannabis strategy with a multi-genre lineup of musicians.
